Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to be a part of our team in the government sector located in Richmond, Virginia, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, maintaining and updating customer records, processing applications, and performing other related tasks. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to inbound customer calls promptly and professionally
• Provide excellent customer service to all callers, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues
• Enter data accurately into the system, ensuring all customer information is up-to-date
• Handle both inbound and outbound calls as needed
• Use Microsoft Excel and Word for various tasks, including order entry and management
• Schedule appointments as per customer requests or needs
• Correspond with customers via email, providing timely and accurate responses
• Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking necessary actions when needed. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in answering inbound calls in a detail-oriented manner
• Proficiency in call center customer service, showcasing exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding and experience in providing superior customer service
• Proven ability in accurate data entry and management
• Experience in email correspondence, ensuring clear and effective communication with customers
• Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls efficiently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data management and documentation
• Experience in order entry, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
