Customer Service Representative in Richmond, Virginia

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Richmond, Virginia. This role primarily revolves around the telecommunications industry, and is based 100% on-site. The incumbent will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing data, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently answer inbound and outbound calls.

• Carry out intake processes on the computer swiftly.

• Collect necessary documents from customers.

• Communicate effectively with both tenants and landlords.

• Handle all tasks virtually, using Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

• Perform data entry and order entry tasks accurately.

• Schedule appointments as necessary.

• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.

• Keep customer records up to date and accurate. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within a call center environment.

• Proficient in answering inbound and outbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication skills.

• Proven track record in providing high-quality customer service, resolving queries and handling complaints efficiently.

• Proficient in data entry, ensuring accurate and timely input of information into the system.

• Experience in email correspondence, responding to customer inquiries in a detail oriented and timely manner.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, demonstrating strong computer literacy.

• Experience in order entry, ensuring all customer orders are processed accurately and promptly.

• Ability to schedule appointments efficiently, managing time and resources effectively.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance.

• Strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with customers and maintain positive relationships.

• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, staying updated with the latest customer service trends and best practices.
