Our client is a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to serving diverse communities and creating positive change. They are seeking a compassionate and skilled Bilingual Customer Service Representative to provide excellent support to individuals and families, ensuring access to vital programs and services.

The Bilingual Customer Service Representative will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service by addressing inquiries, assisting with program enrollment, and guiding clients through available resources. This position requires fluency in English and Spanish and a commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in person in both English and Spanish .

  • Program Assistance: Guide clients through program eligibility requirements, application processes, and service options.

  • Resource Coordination: Provide accurate information about community resources, referrals, and support services.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with organizational policies.

  • Problem Solving: Resolve client concerns with empathy and efficiency, escalating complex issues when necessary.

  • Outreach Support: Assist with outreach initiatives to engage underserved communities and promote awareness of the organization’s services.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with program coordinators and team members to ensure seamless client experiences.

    Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required (spoken and written).

  • Previous experience in customer service, social services, or a nonprofit setting is highly preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy and cultural sensitivity.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with customer management systems.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.

  • High school diploma required; associate degree or higher in social work, human services, or a related field is a plus.
