Customer Service Representative in Winchester, Kentucky

Robert Half is in the process of recruiting a Customer Service Representative to join our team (on a temporary basis – 4 weeks) based in Winchester, Kentucky. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in managing customer interactions, ensuring the accuracy of customer accounts, and swiftly resolving any customer queries. This role is integral to maintaining high standards of customer service within our industry.

Responsibilities

• Address customer inquiries and resolve them promptly

• Manage and maintain customer credit records with precision

• Process customer credit applications in an efficient manner

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as needed

• Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls daily

• Ensure a quiet environment for call handling while working from home

• Utilize cloud-based phones and the Blue Rhino system for communication and data entry

• Use Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and scheduling appointments

• Work flexible hours to meet staffing needs, which may occasionally include weekends

• Participate in paid training to enhance skills and performance.

Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent verbal communication skills.

• Prior experience in a call center environment, focusing on customer service.

• Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to every customer.

• Excellent data entry skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Experience with email correspondence, being able to communicate effectively and professionally.

• Ability to manage both inbound and outbound calls, demonstrating multitasking skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, able to create and manage spreadsheets effectively.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, able to create and format documents as required.

• Experience in order entry, with an understanding of the sales process and customer management.
