Customer Service Representative Supervisor in American Canyon, California

Job Title: Customer Service Representative Supervisor

Job Description:

  • Serve as the primary contact for the customers and execute the daily Customer Service processes with a keen focus on customer satisfaction.

  • Execute the order entry process to ensure that all orders for assigned customers are entered timely and accurately (order number, quantity, product specifications, price, freight terms, shipping instructions, packaging, delivery date, other special instructions, etc.) Review all orders and customer confirmations for accuracy.

  • Ensure a high level of proactive customer engagement with strong communication related to expected service levels, issue resolutions, accounts receivables, and inside sales processes.

  • Support the process of new project development with customers (e.g., artwork proof, color proof, item set up).

  • Follow-up proactively with plant personnel and internal departments including manufacturing, quality, and supply-chain to ensure customer expectations are met.

  • Participate in building strong relationship with customers

  • Strengthen customer relationships through telephone contact, written correspondence, and on-site customer visits. At all times, demonstrate the highest level of diplomacy and professionalism.

  • Manages the reporting and follow up with the right contacts in particular regarding issues, delays, customer feedback, and quality complaints.

  • Maintain customer files up-to-date.

  • Complete the reports.

  • Act as a key resource for the Sales Executive team.

  • Assist the accounting team with the identification of customer ownership related to aged inventory and its disposition.

  • Following company protocols, policies and goals while acting on opportunities to optimize the efficiency of the department.

  • Participate in Safety awareness, training, and ergonomic practices within the facility.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in customer service or inside sales

  • Previous experience in the wine industry is preferred

  • Superior teamwork skills, interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent analytical and computer skills (e.g., Outlook, Excel)

  • Experience with project development is an asset

  • Knowledge of Account mate is an asset.

Work Environment

This position operates in a manufacturing facility specializing in flexibles for the wine industry. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of American Canyon, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 – $36.00/hr.
