Home Medical Equipment (HME) provides home medical equipment/supplies and services to patients at home, in clinics, and at alternative care sites throughout Oregon and SW Washington. HME operations include multiple types of equipment, delivery methods, and insurances with varied medical necessity criteria. The Customer Support/HME Sales Representative is accountable for performing ‘service order resolution’ activities on accounts for Providence HME Satellite sales facilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.

  • upon hire: In compliance with the Providence Health & Services-OR Human Resources policy #302 Background Checks, a criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties.

  • 1 year Customer service experience in health care.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree.

  • 1 year Experience with insurance verification, medical terminology, and medical coding (CPT/ICD-9).

  • 2 years Home medical equipment experience.

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
