Position Overview:

Siemens Mobility is seeking to add to its growing team a Customer Service Professional II. As a Customer Services Professional II in the Spares Department Team, your role is crucial in ensuring seamless customer experiences and driving business success. You will need a unique blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and exceptional communication abilities to effectively liaise between customers, vendors and Siemens’ internal teams. Positioned at the forefront of customer interactions, your role has a direct impact on customer satisfaction, loyalty, and the overall reputation of Siemens Mobility. By providing timely and accurate support, resolving issues efficiently, and fostering strong relationships with customers, you play a vital part in maintaining Siemens’ position as a trusted partner in the mobility industry. This role is based in Sacramento, CA.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Review vendor pricing updates, cost changes, and pending negotiations daily.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and strategic pricing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align pricing strategies.
  • Work with finance to analyze the impact of vendor pricing on profitability and margins. Prepare reports and presentations on pricing metrics, savings, and improvement recommendations.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotes, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and policy.
  • Discuss products with customers and explain technical concepts.
  • Develop customers and create relationships with potential buyers of Siemens Rail Electrification parts.
  • Review and book customer orders.

To thrive in this role, you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • SAP Experience.
  • In-depth understanding of Siemens’ products, services, and technologies.
  • Technical skills & knowledge with the ability to learn about Siemens Traction Power Equipment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to gather and interpret relevant data.
  • Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. Details regarding our benefits can be found here: https://www.benefitsquickstart.com/siemens/index.html. The base salary range for this position in Sacramento CA is $71,900-$97,100. The actual salary/wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
