This role is to act as the key lifecycle advisor for our ICT customers and deliver the best customer experience. By following the 4 key stages of customer lifecycle, land, renew, adopt and expand. This role is to ensure customers are successfully using the solution to resolve business issues. Using this success to develop further opportunities, reduce attrition and renewal challenges. In addition, the purpose of this role is to acquire, retain and expand market share across all Optus ICT products, predominately Hardware and maintenance. Reporting to the ICT Inside Sales Manager, Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for selling into a territory of Government and Enterprise businesses in a specific state, retaining and expanding their current ICT product base. The Inside Sales Representative will work with a large virtual team, to develop high level customer relationships and deliver product and service solutions including Solution Specialists, Business Development Managers and Marketing. They must have the skills and experience to deal with senior executives in Government and Enterprise businesses and will need strong planning skills, the ability to create and execute sales strategy and problem solving for solution development. The role is responsible for delivering against sales targets by ensuring systematic pipeline build and a positive experience for customers and prospects in their interactions with Optus, using telephone and digital channels. The role will also be responsible for preserving the customers ICT product and maintenance base, including proactive management of renewals and EOL management. This position involves calling potential clients to position Optus & Optus’ partners’ products and maintenance. Provide prospective customers/clients with quotes and follow up to close with purchase order, this may include giving customer presentations as needed. Work with client to create solutions for their needs and consult through the sales process. Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to close sales and increase revenue. Success will be evident in sales activity KPIs, performance results and clear demonstration of essential behavioural competencies. Skills and Experience; Experience in corporate inside sales and selling roles or ICT Role ICT Industry Experience Demonstrable record of regularly achieving/exceeding sales targets ICT Industry Experience Proven customer lifecycle application and experience Planning and administration skills Sale process and methodology skills Understanding of ICT products and services Self-confidence, optimism and resilience Mental acuity and intellectual acumen Healthily competitive nature Professional presentation skills Negotiation skills Strong business acumen Proven ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project Experience with and skills in using CRM systems and sales automation tools Optus believes in the strength of a vibrant, diverse and inclusive workforce where backgrounds, perspectives and life experiences of our people help us innovate and create strong connections with our customers.
