N TITLE: Customization Technician
DEPARTMENT: Sax Customs
REPORTS TO: Sax Customs Manager
PURPOSE:
The Customization Technician is responsible for installing accessories and other interior and exterior vehicle products customize vehicles and enhance vehicle protection and appearance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Help identify accessories and other appearance and protection products to order and assist with checking them into inventory to ensure an appropriate stock of items available.
Perform the installation of accessories and appearance and protection products on vehicles for both external and internal customers.
Complete training as appropriate.
Make sure installation is professional and that the fit and finish meet factory and dealership specifications.
Follow-up with customer on any questions or concerns they may have regarding their accessory installation.
Work with other departments in the dealership to provide customers with a quality finished vehicle.
Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Mechanical background helpful.
- ASE certification or previous accessory installation experience preferred but not required.
- Must be detail orientated and have attention to detail.
- Good communication and technical skills.
- Computer familiarity is required to complete job orders.
- Must provide a set of tools and toolbox that is necessary for position. (Annual Tool Allowance.)
- Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable by our insurance company.
