Be the main contact for the client during the import process.
Review documents according to customs requirements.
Verify and track the arrival of goods, Coordination of Transit Declarations, and entries into fiscal warehouses
Coordinate with our port offices for MAG inspections of goods that require it.
Manage payments to third parties.
Coordinate messaging services.
Coordinate preliminary revisions.
Use Expeditors systems for data entry.
Scanning images using Expeditors systems
Manage billing details
Review manifests, movements, and any other details in the Tica system
Knowledge
Handling of goods in different import modalities: Includes definitive import, temporary import, and SEL. (air, ocean, truck)
Documentary requirements: Necessary documentation according to the type of goods.
Application of technical notes: Use of technical notes without issuing permits.
Customs procedures: Knowledge of customs processes and regulations.
Valuation and origin: Knowledge in the valuation of goods and determination of their origin.
Certificates of origin: Application, interpretation, and validation of data in these certificates.
Intermediate and advanced Excel: Skills in using Excel at an intermediate and advanced level.
Definitive import regimes: Understanding of the different applicable regimes.
Tica platform management: Handling of the Tica platform for customs procedures.
