We are seeking a skilled and experienced Day-to-Day Cover Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that learning continues in a structured and supportive environment. This role requires strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate secondary-aged students (Key Stage 3-4).Responsibilities:Supervise and manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
Deliver pre-prepared lessons and activities according to the teacher’s instructions.
Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
Manage the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, following school policies and procedures.
Provide support to students who may require assistance during lessons.
Communicate effectively with teaching staff and school administration regarding any issues or concerns.
Requirements:Experience working with secondary-aged students (Key Stage 3-4) in an educational setting.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain discipline.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow lesson plans and deliver instructions effectively.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different subject areas and with varying age groups.
Being able to drive is advised for travel flexibility between locations.
