We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in the non-profit industry located in Whitby, Ontario. The selected candidate will be working within a database to update immunization records in the health department. A strong understanding of confidentiality is required as the role involves handling sensitive information.Responsibilities:

• Accurately update and maintain immunization records in the database
• Efficiently process data entries with a high level of accuracy
• Handle and organize confidential documents with utmost discretion
• Correspond via email professionally and promptly
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for various tasks
• Organize and manage files systematically
• Perform scanning tasks as required
• Regularly monitor and update customer accounts
• Increase the number of records updated weekly to measure success
• Perform filing duties as necessary
• Comfortably operate computer data entry systems.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role required.
• Proficiency in data entry is a must.
• Ability to handle email correspondence efficiently.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word are required.
• Proven experience in organizing files systematically.
• Experience in scanning and digitizing physical documents.
• Fast and accurate typing skills are necessary.
• Proficiency in computer data entry is expected.
• Experience in handling confidential documents with utmost discretion.
