Here’s What You Need
Education
Associate’s Degree Health Information Management, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field REQUIRED
Bachelor’s Degree Health Information Management, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field preferred
Experience
3 Years Experience Health Information Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Billing, Business, Privacy, Fraud investigation or related REQUIRED
Licenses and Certifications
RHIT – Registered Health Information Technician Upon Hire preferred or
RHIA – Registered Health Information Administrator Upon Hire preferred
Skills
Must have effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of audiences and knowledge levels.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to be self-directed and learn quickly with strong attention to detail.
Detailed oriented, strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, and multitask with conflicting priorities.
Must be able to analyze complex tasks/systems/problems, determining possible solutions.
Must be able to read, comprehend, and apply established policies and procedures.
Proficient in MS Office Suite, electronic health record systems, document management systems, and databases.
