Contract Duration: 3 Months

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

• Business Analysis, Complex Data Analysis, Data Integration, Data Mapping, Metadata, SQL/Teradata, Agile Environment, Data Governance, Data interpretation and analysis, Data Lineage

• Candidate must have experience in the areas of requirements gathering, data analysis and data governance.

• Needs to be a self-starter who has led requirements sessions. Ideal candidate will be someone who has a strong understanding of the requirements analysis lifecycle, Data analysis, data governance, Financial experience and strong foundational RDBMS expertise.

• The emphasis is on business and data analysis, as opposed to a technology skillset (developers, DBS, etc.).

• Experience writing business requirements as JIRA stories, Agile Scrum & Kanban environments

• Strong data profiling and data analytics

• Strong SQL writing experience (joins, unions etc)

What You Will Be Doing

• Consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Data Management.

• Consult on the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking.

• Provide expertise to the company’s senior leadership on innovative Data Management business solutions

• Strategically engage with the company’s personnel.

• Additional responsibilities may include data management, data lineage/metadata, data controls & data checks; experience in data control governance; data defect/issue/deficiency remediation; documenting data flows/process flows.

• Work effort coordination/management experience, current process assessment and improvement experience.
