Functional Responsibilities: Data Management and Analysis Collaborate in planning, designing, and executing data management to support the CBO project. Organize, validate, and analyze data inputs to establish cost and volume baselines for services in scope. Consolidate, analyze, and visualize data across entities and services to inform decision-making. Quantify, track, and consolidate potential efficiency gains from CBO. Performance Tracking and Reporting Coordinate in establishing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across CBO services. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop reports that provide actionable insights into CBO operations and performance. Act as the primary focal point for entities on data management, analysis, and visualization for CBO planning and implementation efforts. Capacity Building and Collaboration Train UNCT and OMT colleagues and data focal points at the country level on data tools and templates for collection, analysis, and visualization. Conduct follow-ups with focal points via clinics and calls to ensure consistent and accurate data gathering. Tools and Templates Development Develop and improve tools and templates for data collection, analytics, and visualization. Support the creation of a scalable analytical model for launching and expanding CBO services. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing Analyze and consolidate lessons learned, good practices, and guidelines on CBO-related data management. Document workflows and processes to ensure knowledge transfer and collaboration. Monitoring and Progress Control: Comprehensive baseline reports for CBO countries, including data input, wrangling, clean-up, analysis, visualization, and recommendations to inform decision-making. Enhanced tools and templates for data collection, analytics, and visualization. A repeatable analytical model for scaling and launching CBO services sensitive to the perspectives of both service providers and clients. Training materials and sessions for stakeholders on using tools and templates for data collection and visualization. Collaborative production of data analysis reports for CBO operations, capturing insights and lessons learned. 4. Qualifications, Experience and Language requirements: a. Education An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) preferably in Data Management, Data Analysis, Information Systems, Statistics, or in a field related to the post description with two (2) years of relevant experience is required; OR A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) preferably in Data Management, Data Analysis, Information Systems, Statistics, or in a field related to the post description with (4) years of relevant experience is desirable. b. Work Experience Required: Relevant experience is defined as experience in data management, analytics, and/or visualization. Demonstrated experience in planning, executing, and/or communicating data management initiatives. Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R). Experience in data collection, cleaning, and/or visualization methodologies. Desired: Experience in version control tools such as Git is desirable Familiarity with the UN system or similar organizational contexts is desirable. Knowledge of MS Office applications, internet use, and office technology equipment is desirable. Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, pivot charts, conditional formatting, logical functions, lookup functions, text functions, date and time functions, and mathematical functions) is desirable. c. Language Fluency in English (read, write, speak) is required. Knowledge of any of the other UN official languages will be considered as an advantage
