University of Bristol
The School of Arts supports five successful and dynamic departments: Music, Film, Theatre, Anthropology and Archaeology, and Philosophy; with student support for the School based at 43 Woodland Road. We wish to appoint a full time Deputy Student Administration Manager to work with the Student Administration Team. The diversity of the School of Arts, with many practice-based departments, makes this an interesting and challenging opportunity for an adaptable individual with experience of student administration processes.
You will be working with a team of administrators and academics, playing a pivotal role in ensuring students receive
consistently high-quality administrative support during their studies. As part of the student administration leadership
team, you will take an active role in developing and enhancing existing processes within the School, as well as
line managing team members and supporting the wider team on a daily basis. You should enjoy working within a team, demanding high standards of yourself and others with a willingness to interact with our students and academics in a confident and friendly manner.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a student role. You will enjoy using your advanced
organisational skills to deliver a high-quality service to students and staff, using your initiative, communication and
organisational skills to be an effective and supportive manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wishes to develop in an education focussed role in an interesting and vibrant school.
