An inclusive university that celebrates difference, we prioritise creating a supportive environment for students and staff to find their individual voices and nurture their personal creativity.Working closely with President & Vice-Chancellor Professor Jane Roscoe, the Deputy-Vice-Chancellor will play a central role in delivering the priorities set out in our refreshed UCA strategy. In particular, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor will lead UCA’s Academic Schools, including ICI. They will also lead a series of strategic projects to drive forward UCA’s cultural and organisational transformation and play an important role embedding new ways of working, as well as engaging staff in our new UCA story.This is a demanding role within a complex organisation with an ambitious strategic plan and agenda for change. Candidates will have significant experience of leading the implementation of organisation-wide strategic projects and a successful track record of leading and inspiring staff with a wide range of interests and backgrounds to achieve common objectives.The successful candidate will have an outstanding academic leadership track record, a good understanding of the creative industries, and the ability to instigate and lead successful transformation strategically, operationally and culturally.
