1566344Academic Appointments Ltd is currently working with Leeds partner School to recruit a dedicated Design Technology Technician. This is a full time Technician placement and will be a December 2024 start until February half term in the first instance, with a potential of a permanent offer for the right candidate.This is a ‘Good’ rated school, based in Leeds, where the headteacher, governors, key leaders and managers are ambitious on the part of all young people. They consistently communicate high expectations.The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of practical lessons and the safe use of equipment and materials within the department. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate team working to inspire students in their studies of Food and Design Technology.Requirements:

• Experience or qualifications in Design Technology.
• Strong organisational and practical skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a workshop environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Two satisfactory references.
• A valid DBS certificate, or be willing to obtain one.
