RFP-048/24 – Consultancy Firm for development of a Comprehensive Rehabilitation, Education and Reintegration Programme curriculum for the Sierra Leone Correctional Service
The overall objective of the consultancy is to design a comprehensive, modern, and inclusive Rehabilitation, Education, and Reintegration Programme Curriculum that aligns with national development priorities, market demands, and international standards for inmate rehabilitation and reintegration.
Specific objectives include:
- Assess current rehabilitation and education programmes within SLCS.
- Conduct a skills gap and market needs assessment in digital literacy, coding, animation, graphic design, communication, and visual arts, including consultations with private sector stakeholders and correctional staff.
- Design a competency-based education and training curriculum with a focus on digital, creative, and soft skills.
- Ensure the curriculum promotes inclusion, gender sensitivity, and accessibility for all categories of inmates.
- Integrate rehabilitation principles and psychosocial support modules.
