2. Strengthen Accountability: Empower youth to take ownership of monitoring and evaluating humanitarian efforts, ensuring that they are key drivers of accountability mechanisms.

3. Promote Holistic Leadership: Bridge the gap between service delivery and advocacy, fostering a comprehensive youth-led approach in both operational and policy aspects of humanitarian response.

4. Tailor for Diverse Contexts: Adapt the toolkit to various cultural and geographical contexts, ensuring it remains relevant and effective in different regions, including its existing Arabic version.

Consultant Expectations:

The consultant will be expected to:

  2. Guide Framework: Create a structured framework that emphasizes youth leadership from the planning to the execution of humanitarian services, ensuring young people are engaged throughout the process.
  3. Youth Engagement Strategies: Identify and include best practices for engaging young people in both service delivery and advocacy, utilizing youth-led initiatives from global and regional contexts.
  4. Cross-Sector Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including youth leaders, humanitarian organizations, and technical experts, to ensure the toolkit is both practical and effective.
  5. Pilot Testing and Feedback: Facilitate a pilot phase of the toolkit to gather feedback from young people, refining the content based on their input and field experiences.
