Development Officer

Devon Environment Foundation, mainly remote, Devon-based (one day a week co-working in Dartington, South Devon), £28,000 to £30,000 pa (depending on experience)

Devon Environment Foundation is seeking a Development Officer to join their small but mighty team. Since launching in 2020, we’ve awarded £2 million in grants to more than 100 incredible grassroots projects protecting and restoring nature in Devon – everything from rewilding and species reintroductions to regenerative agriculture and coastal clean-ups. And we’re just getting started!

We’re looking for someone passionate, ambitious, and creative to help grow our fundraising, shape our storytelling, and accelerate nature restoration across Devon.

MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE:

• Develop and deliver effective fundraising strategies to acquire new donors, while building stronger relationships with existing donors, securing income from a wide range of sources.
• Increase awareness of DEF’s impact by delivering a compelling communications strategy via social media, website, email, events, an annual impact report, and other marketing materials.
