Digital Officer

Global Action Plan

Global Action Plan is looking for a confident digital officer who is passionate about design,
brand and accessibility to help us bring our work to life. You might not have worked in
sustainability before, but you are driven by making the world a better place and have a passion to address the climate crisis.

Our digital channels are vital in delivering against our organisational and campaign driven ambitions. Across our projects we have a range of channels reaching out to different audiences including young people, teachers, businesses and local authorities. You are passionate about digital tools and social media and understand the complexities and nuances. You are confident at learning new processes, and are comfortable getting to know new software. You are naturally curious, always seeking out best practice, and love to break down barriers with new ways of doing things.

The role includes:

  • Working with multiple project teams across the organisation, supporting them to create shareable content
  • Ensuring created content is accessible to a diverse range of audiences
  • Creating a range of video and graphical content
  • Supporting our marketing and communications team to distribute our stories and news through web, newsletter and social media channels
  • Turning reports, presentations and other copy into branded, engaging and accessible materials
  • Engaging with online users and communities to develop conversations and relationships
  • Making best use of social media tools and platforms
