Purpose

The Director SIOP, Global is responsible for creating and managing a robust sales, operations, and inventory planning (SIOP) process. The individual is responsible to collaborate with leaders across the organization to ensure solid processes and execution for demand, supply, and inventory management across the Analytical Solutions and Customer Enablement Global Business Lines (GBLs). This role will lead the monthly Executive SIOP meeting with the Executive Team.

This role will report directly to the VP Production, Global and will work cross-functionally across the Production Global Support Service and the Analytical Solutions and Customer Enablement GBLs to deliver the above outputs via a disciplined and best-in-class (sub)process(es). This role will implement clear metrics to continuously monitor and improve the performance.

This role will manage a small team of ~2-3 co-workers.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Optimizes the demand management process;
  • Drives the deployment of the supply and capacity planning process within the overall SIOP process across the Production Global Support Services (GSS) Team and the Analytical Solutions & Customer Enablement GBLs;
  • Manages and provides leadership for interfacing with the Production team to develop the supply/production plan for a minimum of 12 months;
  • Ensure that the processes are implemented and executed using SAP;
  • Drive process standardization and continuous improvement. Redesign processes to reduce chances of errors;
  • Establishes and reports clear metrics, aligned with global policies, to manage the supply planning processes and the results in all areas;
  • Develops and leads a monthly Executive SIOP review that will be used for executive decision making and will be the basis for the financial forecast.

Basic Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, business or a related field required;
  • MBA preferred;
  • Six Sigma, and/or Lean Certification preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive job experience in supply chain and SIOP in discrete manufacturing environment(s);
  • Working knowledge of ERP best practices and demand planning.
