Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Lead overall Scientific Strategy development and execution for Pneumococcal Vaccines FranchiseLead annual scientific strategy planning, development, and execution for the Pneumococcal Vaccines Franchise in collaboration with cross functional teamsDevelop and oversee the implementation of Scientific Leader engagement and communication strategies for Pneumococcal Vaccines Franchise in both adult and pediatric spacesLead without authority and drive collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the overall product strategy and messagingBuild and maintain strong relationships with Scientific Leaders; and ensure all Scientific Leader engagement activities comply with regulatory, legal, and ethical standardsCommercial lead in driving engaging presence of Pneumococcal Vaccines Franchise brands at Congresses; identifying strategic congresses for Global support, including key regional congresses, aligning team activities, and scientific leader engagementsProvide guidance in the creation and dissemination of scientific and educational content tailored to Scientific Leaders, including presentations and training materials.Support strategic planning to define market opportunity and market positioning for future pneumococcal vaccine development, working closely with cross-functional and cross-divisional colleaguesOversee data generation requests and activities in close collaboration with Outcomes Research and Epi team members (e.g., Cost-effectiveness modeling, Budget impact modeling, Burden of Disease analysis).Education:Bachelor’s DegreePreferred: Advanced Degree (PhD, MBA, PharmD)Knowledge and Skills:7 years of progressive experience across marketing or related experiences in pharmaceutical (ie medical affairs) or biotechnology industriesDemonstrated ability to develop and execute Scientific Strategy and Scientific Leader engagement plansStrong scientific acumen with the ability to communicate complex information effectivelyExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Acumen for understanding key market dynamics and seize business opportunities.Proven track record of high-performance launches and driving business results.Proven ability to analyze complex data and create clear long-term customer centric strategiesStrong collaboration skills, both within commercial teams and cross divisional teams including R&D, medical affairs, Outcomes Research and AccessPreferred Knowledge and Skills:Vaccine market knowledgeKnowledge of engaging and collaborating with early clinical development teamsPMP certificationNOTICE FOR INTERNAL APPLICANTSIn accordance with all employees subject to this policy are required to have a minimum of twelve (12) months of service in current position prior to applying for open positions.If you have been offered a separation benefits package, but have not yet reached your separation date and are offered a position within the salary and geographical parameters as set forth in the Summary Plan Description (SPD) of your separation package, then you are no longer eligible for your separation benefits package.
