Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Marketing to lead our EdTech client’s integrated programs as they continue to experience high growth each year. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to increase partnerships with schools across the world, as well as increase their presence through content, events, and PR initiatives.   • Develop and implement strategic marketing and communication plans to promote the organization’s EdTech platform, events, and initiatives.
  • Grow and lead a lean marking team to execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, print, and events.
  • Manage the organization’s brand identity and messaging to maintain consistency and integrity across all communication channels and materials.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive insights to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Report to the CEO on outcomes of digital channels such as website traffic, conversions, and email marketing metrics, social media metrics, and paid media metrics, SEO metrics, and customer acquisition & retention metrics.
  • Oversee the development of compelling content and creative assets, including website content, blog posts, social media posts, videos, and brochures, to engage and attract prospective students, parents, and partner schools.
  • Leverage external resources to drive PR and media initiatives and content creation (video and written).
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, industry events, and community outreach activities to build partnerships and enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, or account management, ideally with experience in the education sector, but the client is open to other areas including startups and agencies.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing and communication strategies that drive growth.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with experience leading and motivating teams to achieve goals and deliver high-quality results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, alumni, media, and community partners.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and platforms for tracking and reporting on campaign performance.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in digital marketing, social media, content marketing, and branding.
