About usThe UCL Centre for International Medical Education Collaborations (UCL CIMEC) is based in UCL Medical School (UCLMS) within the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMS). The Centre has projects and collaborations across other Health Sciences divisions and faculties within UCL. UCL CIMEC has been delivering impactful global partnerships in healthcare education since 2013. This dedication ensures that our collaborations are both meaningful and sustainable.To learn more about our work, visit:About the roleAs Director of Business Development and Partnerships at UCL CIMEC, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the Centre’s strategic plan. Working closely with the Academic Director, you will lead the development of strategic international partnerships, drive innovation in advisory services, and ensure operational and financial excellence across a diverse project portfolio.This is a senior leadership role that combines strategic thinking, commercial insight, and relationship-building to advance UCL’s global impact in healthcare education. Core responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development of strategic partnerships and advisory service offerings, both nationally and internationally, as CIMEC expands its work across UCL’s health faculties and with UCL Consultants (UCLC).
  • Collaborating with academic and operational teams to deliver high-impact consultancy projects.
  • Overseeing business planning, marketing strategy, and resource management.
  • Managing performance, budgets, and reporting across a diverse project portfolio.
