Job description
We are looking for an outstanding individual to lead on the curriculum design and build of our level 6 Chartered Manager (Degree) Apprenticeship. You will build on excellent foundations to develop a truly market-leading programme that supports the professional development of learners both at the beginning their careers and more established professionals.
You will write industry-leading, academic and vocational learning content and collaborate with the wider curriculum team to turn this into cutting-edge, interactive eLearning content. Responsibilities :

To lead the design and build of our Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship programme.

To implement CCL’s signature pedagogy into the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship, ensuring alignment with CCLs overarching vision and purpose.

To partner with Corndel Group’s world-class experts in work-based learning and apprenticeships to bring the best of higher education and work-based learning into CCL programmes.

To partner with CCL’s exceptional Operations function to enable delivery staff to effectively understand, teach and assess on the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship.

To write content to ensure all vocational requirements of the Apprenticeship Standard are met.

To create and curate content to ensure all academic requirements for the award of the degree are met.

To write industry-leading, academic and vocational learning content.
-
To develop and produce exciting, engaging and interactive learning content in a range of formats and media.
-
To drive continuous improvement of the student experience in the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship through user experience methodologies and purposeful use of educational technology to oversee creation of engaging, relevant and informative learning journeys.

To effectively manage the contributions of subject-matter experts contributing to the creation of programme content on the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship.

To support and encourage student and employer engagement within the curriculum (including its development and enhancement)

Collaborate with the CCL colleagues and the wider Corndel group to identify and share most effective practice, both within the group and the sector more widely including through active participation in relevant academic communities and publications.

To support the integrity, effectiveness and leadership of the academic governance structure, (e.g. by Chairing Programme Management Committee, member for Learning, Teaching & Assessment Enhancement Committee, and Academic Board.)

To oversee academic integrity within the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship, scheduling, allocating markers and moderators, and over
We are looking for an experienced Academic Leader who can demonstrate: Knowledge and Experience:

Educational Background: Hold a higher education teaching qualification or Senior Fellowship with Advance HE. A doctorate in a relevant field is highly desirable.

Curriculum Development: demonstrable experience of building online curriculum in a relevant field on time, at high quality and to budget.
-
Sector expertise: An understanding of degree apprenticeships and work-based learning methodologies to create high quality learning journeys suitable for students’ context is desirable.

Quality Assurance: In-depth knowledge of sector expectations, quality assurance, and standards in higher education.

Learning design: demonstrable experience of developing engaging, interesting and accessible online learning content.

Innovation: demonstrable experience in leading student-centred design and drawing on new and emerging technologies and practice to deliver engaging, high quality learning journeys that deliver great student outcomes.
