Director of Data
Salary: Up to $180,000 We are seeking a Director of Data to develop and implement a data strategy that drives business decisions. You will lead a team of data analysts and data scientists, leveraging predictive analytics and machine learning to extract insights from complex datasets. Collaboration with key stakeholders, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, and IT teams will be essential to ensure proper data management.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of a data strategy aligned with business goals.

Manage a team of data analysts and scientists, utilizing tools like Python, R, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.

Develop and optimize data models, algorithms, and self-service analytics tools.

Oversee data governance, data quality, and cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Drive adoption of predictive analytics and machine learning across the organization.

Develop data visualization strategies using Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.

Provide executive-level insights through performance reports and key metrics.
Qualifications:
-
Experience leading data science and analytics teams.

Expertise in predictive analytics, machine learning, and statistical analysis.

Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.

Strong business acumen and ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Familiarity with agile methodologies and data governance best practices.

Requirements
• A minimum of 10 years experience in a data-focused role
• Extensive knowledge and practical application of Cloud Technologies.
• Proven understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) concepts.
• Ability to create comprehensive Business Requirement Documents.
• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience with Hadoop data frameworks.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka.
• Demonstrated experience in a DevOps environment.
