Job Description:UE10: £76,398 – £89,501 per annum.College of Science & Engineering / EPCC.Open-Ended Contract – PermanentFull time – 35 hours per week.The Opportunity:EPCC is a critical enabler of High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science Services provision in the UK. We manage and support the delivery of the UK’s national supercomputing services that contribute to the UK being a world leader in science and innovation. The Director of HPC Services provides high level and strategic leadership as well as hands-on management, working with stakeholders to grow the international reputation and standing of EPCC and The University of Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have the credibility and gravitas to work with a broad range of external stakeholders and the experience to deliver exceptional HPC services at one of the world’s leading supercomputing centres. The Director of HPC Services will have a strong track-record in continuous service improvement and technology foresighting, and a desire to deliver the best possible experience to the many users of our services.
