An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the busy and progressive Disability and Dyslexia Team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality information, advice and guidance services as the team’s finance contact.
You will be part of a team who are responsible for the administrative processes around setting up support for students with disabilities. This role will require you to be finance focused, follow methodical processes and communicate effectively with all stakeholders. You will be a confident user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. You will be adaptable, resilient, systems focused and able to work both independently and as part of a small and friendly team.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Processing pay claims and invoices in a timely manner
- Ensuring that external funding bodies reimburse the University for support provided to students.
- Reconciling historic invoices to minimise the University’s income at risk.
- Maintaining records for external audits and prepare documentation as requested by auditors.
- Assisting the Team with administrative tasks such as bookings for events or training.
- Being a point of contact for staff providing non-medical help to students
- Keeping student records accurate and up to date
This role will be available from 1st August 2023 onwards.
