Here are some advantages for the position located in Québec city and Lévis;– Permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday
– 40 hours per week, flexible hours
– Salary varies from 50k to 65k depending on experience
– Insurance provided after 3 months’ probation
– 2 to 3 weeks paid vacation, 10 sick days and 3 personal days
– Opportunity for career advancementResponsibilities
– Allocate pick-ups and deliveries to different drivers
– Daily follow-up of all open files (reservations, customer follow-up requests, etc.)
– Update customer files in the system
– Prompt and efficient dispatch to ensure quality service is maintained
– Planning and execution of outbound and inbound deliveries
– Act as the main point of contact for drivers on the route
– Communicate with drivers at defined intervals to manage service expectations and identify problems
– Ensure tracking and traceability
– Resolve and respond accordingly to calls from customers and customer service group
– Monitor shipments
– Work with operations team in a respectful mannerQualifications
– 1-2 years’ professional experience in a related field, in dispatching for a transmission or distribution company
– Bilingual (French and English)
– Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
– Knowledge of AS400, SAP or TruckMate is an asset
– Mechanical knowledge an asset
– Customer service-oriented and outgoing
