The position of Distribution Center Lead will be based out of Denver, CO!
Summary
The Distribution Center Lead is responsible for helping supervise and perform other aspects of their department to facilitate workflow. In the absence of the Distribution Center Supervisor or Distribution Center Assistant Supervisor, will be responsible for overseeing aspects of the department. Acts as a team lead to a small group of employees generally focused on a limited task.
For the state of Colorado only, the pay range is $22.00 to $28.00 , depending upon qualifications, experience and other considerations permitted by law.
Commission/bonus plan: DCIP
What You’ll Do
-
Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment. Assume responsibility for immediately addressing safety concerns

Assist in leading, training, and coordinating work including delivery scheduling, inbound and outbound processes, safety requirements, and special customer requirements

In the absence of the Distribution Center Supervisor or Distribution Center Assistant Supervisor, will be responsible for overseeing aspects of the department

Must know all department functions and processes
-
Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment, maintaining the security of the Distribution Center and accurate inventory
-
Ensure inbound and/or outbound shipments and products are accurate and free of damage
-
Ensure that jobs are correctly implemented, assigned effectively, and completed properly
-
Assist in maintenance and security of the Distribution Center

What You’ll Need
-
High School or GED preferred
-
4+ years of distribution center or warehouse experience
-
Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment preferred

If required to make deliveries:
-
Must have a valid driver’s license
-
Must be at least 21 years of age
-
Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of their Motor Vehicle Record
-
Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire
-
Must not have had a suspended drivers’ license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years
-
Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years

Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements

Possess a comprehensive knowledge of subject manner
