Donor Reporting Officers (for Philippine Residents Only)

The ICRC is looking for Donor Reporting Officers to join its Resource Mobilization Division, which oversees fundraising efforts for the ICRC’s humanitarian activities worldwide. They will be part of the Donor Reporting Unit based at the MSSC.

What we do:

Full-time writing. The Donor Reporting Unit follows the work of the ICRC worldwide and turns that work into reports, appeals, funding proposals and other documents for our donors. Our audience includes governments, public and private donors, and international organizations.

Your profile:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills; able to synthesize large amounts of information, with keen attention to detail
  • Self-starter; can adapt efficiently to shifting priorities and manage multiple deadlines
  • Eager to learn and able to grasp and apply concepts quickly
  • University graduate

What we offer:

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Access to training opportunities
  • International, multicultural environment

Our team:

We come from different backgrounds, including international affairs, chemistry, communication, business management, political science and graphic design.

We have people who have written for a living, those who write for fun, published authors, and those who have a knack for writing but have never really considered it as a career path.

What ties us together are our values: we are a team of high-performing individuals with a strong sense of professionalism, accountability and teamwork. We are committed to helping raise support for the ICRC’s worldwide efforts to protect and assist people affected by armed conflict and violence.

Experience isn’t a requirement, but you need to like the work and be comfortable with it. Come with the skills and the work ethic, and we will help you learn the rest.

How to apply

If this sounds like a good fit for you, kindly apply through https://careers.icrc.org/job-invite/24569/ and attach a copy of your resume and motivation letter – in one document. In your motivation letter, make sure to include a paragraph on an aspect of the ICRC’s work that you find most interesting.

The deadline for applications is 31 May 2024. They will be assessed on a rolling basis until then.

Shortlisted candidates will be notified and invited to take an online recruitment exam.

This position is open to Filipino nationals only.
