Job Description:Voyago is hiring a Full-Time Driver Trainer for our Durham Transit Location!Your Role
- Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Driver Trainer is responsible for training/teaching employees how to drive all Company owned vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
- Completion of Driving Assessments
- Instruction of Voyago divisional training as required
- Outside instructional training programs as required by transit division manager
Requirements:Your profile
- You have a G or B class driver’s license
- You possess a clean driving record and Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Yu have excellent customer service experience
- You have superior organization and communications skills
- You have availability to work flexible hours Monday to Friday (the occasional weekend)
- You have an understanding of vehicle for hire industry
- You have knowledge of wheelchair tie downs and q-straint
- You possess a clean driver’s abstract
- You have previous instructional / teaching experience
- You have previous Driver Assessment experience
- You are willing to attend and complete Professional Instructor in Driver Education (PRIDE) program or Equivalent (Voyago will cover cost of this certification and all costs associated)
- You are comfortable travelling to various Voyago locations across SouthWestern Ontario
