Our students are our customers, and we provide use of the gym, studios and team sports to them at a discounted rate. The facility has been open since February 2015.The role of the Duty Manager sits within the Senior Team at CitySport, and we will require an individual with excellent communication skills and leadership ability to strengthen this existing team.ResponsibilitiesThe Duty Manager role is heavily operational and will support the Leisure Supervisor – Operations, with health and safety duties and building management. This role also requires leadership skills to manage the team when on shift. Communication is paramount as the Duty Manager will report on building faults and 1st aid accidents and incidents to other departments within the University. Overseeing maintenance within CitySport, logging jobs with PAF (property and facilities) and keeping the senior team up to date of all completed and outstanding jobs.The postholder will have worked within a leisure facility with leadership or Duty Management experience.
