This requires a passionate, driven and strong Dynamo user to work with the development team on insuring Dynamo quality on the current desktop solution and through its evolution to the Cloud. We are looking for someone who is passionate about problem solving and quality, ensuring our customers have the best tools they need to help them realize their dreams.As a Software QA specialist you will work closely with software developers and other QA engineers and take an active role in ensuring that Dynamo and its ecosystem meet the highest standards of quality and will be responsible for testing Autodesk’s next-generation Dynamo functionality.This position is for an architect or engineer with a passionate commitment to improving Dynamo. Applying your strong industry expertise, you will make significant contributions to the quality, robustness and completeness of Dynamo software. You must implement and maintain a coherent, progressive strategy for testing Dynamo, and will participate in black box and automated testing of the implemented functionality.ResponsibilitiesIdentify workflows that need to be tested during the process of Dynamo developmentDevelop comprehensive software test plans, focusing on UI, functionality, performance, and workflowsExecute test design to find and prioritize defectsReceive defect reports from other sources (customers, product support, forums), confirm and track specific issues for use by developmentWrite test cases based on real production work, and create scripts for automationParticipate in Scrum ceremonies for requirements gathering, test planning, execution, and progress reportingUphold high quality standards for the products you work onSupport customers by addressing training issues and identifying defectsPartner with experienced engineers, absorbing best practices in software developmentWrite and run automated testsMinimum QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in Civil/Architecture, Computer Science/Computer Engineering, or other engineering discipline.Background in Architecture, Civil or Structural Engineering, Software Engineering / Computer Science, or relevant domainsKnowledge of Dynamo, Revit, Civil 3D or other competitive CAD software5+ years of industry experienceStrong leadership skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving problems. Analyzing alternatives, risks and benefits.Detail-oriented and strong logical thinking skillsFlexibility under changing conditions and ability to multi-task between projectsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of C#, Python, and JavascriptFamiliarity with AWS, AzureKnowledge of Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, GitHubKnowledge of QA Automation toolsKeen interest in new technologies and their timely adoptionAbility to learn large software systems quicklyFamiliarity with Agile Software Development Processes and Product Development Life CycleLearn MoreAbout Autodesk
