We are a family-operated business offering all new Team Members benefits after 3 months, bi-weekly perfect attendance bonuses, an RRSP matching program, Food Truck Days, Referral bonuses and more!The Opportunity:The current DZ Local Driver opportunity is a short-term contract position set to end in early August 2024.Wages: $25.00/hourResponsibilities and Duties

• Make scheduled deliveries to clients within the food industry
• Securing product and transport to required locations
• Complete pre-trip inspection of truck and safely operate equipment
• Develop business relationships with clients through daily operations
• Delivery to local businesses & cross-border deliveries

Do you have what it takes?

• Must have a DZ license, clean abstract and CVOR within the last 30 days
• Must be able to effectively drive a 28′ Straight truck
• Insurance Letter of Experience for a minimum of the previous 3 years
• Must pass an on-road driving test and background checks (drug-testing, safety)
• A strong customer service attitude, and enjoy interacting with various clients within the food industry
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consistently
• Must own valid passport as some deliveries may be in New York state
• Electronic logging device must be used, will train
