Goodwill of Colorado lists unique and quality items on-line for sale through our ShopGoodwill.com website. Things like antiques, art, jewelry, collectibles, books, purses, shoes, and electronics are posted on-line for shoppers to bid on in an on-line auction. This position “picks” those items from our donations to be listed on-line or sold in our in-store Boutiques. Have you listed items online for sale before? Are you familiar with current Home Decor trends? Do you have a knack for interior design? Work Site: Kearney Outlet, 4355 Kearney Street, Denver, CO. 80216. This position may be right for you.

Please know this position will require ongoing training of product knowledge and processing items. You must be ready and willing to learn. This position is fast-paced, works in a warehouse environment, physically demanding and would require open availability for nights and weekends.

Pay: $18.29 per Hr.

This full-time position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Flexible Spending Accounts, Long Term Disability, and several voluntary supplemental benefit offerings. In addition, these positions are eligible for paid time off in the form of vacation, sick, holiday, floating holiday, jury duty and bereavement leave. OBJECTIVE:

The E-Commerce Product Acquisition Specialist will work to pick, and train others to pick, quality high-end products from our product donations to sell online and in the boutique setting. Occasional customer contact will require the E-Commerce Product Acquisition Specialist to provide excellent customer service displaying an “Attitude of Gratitude” in order to support the mission of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ yrs. of retail, e-commerce, pawn shop, thrift/antique store, auction house or similar experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of and ability to identify high-end products, including but not limited to: antiques, collectibles, art, jewelry, shoes, purses, electronics, furniture and other various items.

  • Able to effectively use Internet Search Engines, Microsoft Office and other software platforms.

  • Able to communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff and peers through verbal and electronic means.

  • Able to withstand prolonged standing, reaching and bending up to 8 hours per day.

  • Able to work occasional overtime, including weekends and evenings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

  • Choose quality, high-end donated items that will bring a higher value when sold online or in the boutique such as: collectibles, antiques, jewelry, shoes, electronics and other various items.

  • Conduct internet product research, as necessary, to properly identify high-end quality products.

  • Train other retail associates on product knowledge and how to identify high-end quality donations that should be sold online or in the boutique rather than in stores. This training may involve stores visits, formal classroom training, curriculum development and on the job training.

  • Provide subject matter expertise towards E-Commerce, boutique and book sales related projects and process improvements.

  • Provide feedback to managers regarding overall store performance as it relates to identifying high-end, quality products.

  • Provide a clean and organized work area to promote a safe environment for employees and customers.

  • Cross-train in other E-Commerce areas and act as a back-up for other areas as required.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
