Overview

The Department of Buildings & General Services (BGS) is looking for an
experienced E-Procurement Organizational Change Manager and Training
Coordinator to lead the transformation of the VTBuys platform.

The position will design and implement change management strategies,
create user training materials, and develop detailed communication plans
to support system adoption. Additionally, the position will conduct
needs assessments, collaborate with stakeholders, monitor project
milestones, and guide users through system transitions.

This position is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule, based on the
needs of the Department.

Environmental Factors

Duties are performed primarily in a standard office setting but with a
requirement for occasional statewide travel, for which private means of
transportation must be available. Some work outside of normal office
hours may be anticipated. Anticipated strong opposition encountered from
internal and external stakeholders resistant to compliance requirements
and/or changes in current procedures, for which considerable tact is
required. Substantial pressure from deadlines may be experienced.
