Education and Community Officer (Visitor Experience) – Maternity Cover

Do you have a passion for natural
history, the environment and education? Do you love inspiring people about wildlife and love
the idea of working in a visitor centre environment in one of the UK’s best spaces for nature? Then this may be the post for you. 

We are looking for someone to work as part of the visitor
and education centre team to provide an excellent visitor experience to reserve visitors and
deliver a programme of environmental education activities. 

This is an incredibly varied post
that would suit someone with an interest in visitor management and events and who wants to
deliver environmental education. 

Ideally, you will have some experience of working in a visitor
environment and delivering environmental education. A good working knowledge of wildlife and
environmental issues would be beneficial. 

You should have an outgoing personality, be
comfortable communicating with people of all ages and abilities, be IT literate and have some
experience in basic administration. 

The post will involve working with children and the
successful candidate will be required to undertake a criminal record check.
