Starting Salary £32,411(Pro-rata for 6 month period)

The Faculty of Business and Creative Industries (FBCI) is one of three faculties at USW, offering courses in subject areas such as Law, Business Management, Music and Drama, Film and Professional Development and supporting over 6,000 students across more than 90 courses. Our Creative Industries courses are based in our purpose-built facility, in Central Cardiff where over 2,500 students study a wide variety of creative courses from Fashion to Games, Journalism and Media Production.

The Education Outreach Officer posts are fixed term positions created to support USW’s network of Screen Academies in Wolf Studios and Great Point Seren Studios in Cardiff and Dragon Studios in Bridgend during the funded development period.

Managed by the Screen Academy Manager the successful candidates will work with schools and colleges throughout Wales to give as many young people as possible the opportunity to consider careers in the TV industry. Responsible for promoting the Screen Academy as a new shared resource to key stakeholders, you will provide support to USW Film & TV courses and other educational partners including FE Colleges and Screen Alliance Wales throughout this initial funded project development.

This is a full time, fixed term post for 6 months. Successful applicants will be expected to work between Wolf Studios, Great Point Studios and Dragon Studios.
