About the RoleThe School of Engineering and Materials Science at Queen Mary University of London has a vacancy for an Education Services Administrator. The purpose of this role is to support students on our taught programmes through student enquiry management and delivery of essential administrative processes including timetabling, support to the examinations process, coursework administration and running the front of house service in the School Office. The post holder is an important member of the School’s Education Services Team who is responsible for triaging and resolving student queries under the direction of the Education Services Officer; working closely with academic staff and team members, particularly the Student Support Officer, to deliver excellent student experience.About YouWe are looking for a motivated, organised and professional individual with secretarial/administrative experience, as well as the ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines. GCSE’s and A-Levels (grades A-C), or equivalent is essential. Experience of working in higher education would be an advantage. A demonstrated ability to communicate well and work within a team is also essential.About the School of Engineering and Materials ScienceThis post is within the School of Engineering and Materials Science, a large School with 110 academics and a similar number of postdoctoral research staff. There are around 1000 undergraduate and taught postgraduate students and 220 PhD students. These are supported by an administrative and technical staff team of 45.
