The Business School is seeking a summer Intern to support our preparation for EFMD reaccreditation.
EFMD programme accreditation is an internationally recognised badge of quality that can be awarded to individual programmes in Business Schools around the world. In October 2016 the BA International Business was initially accredited. We chose to accredit this programme as it is international in focus and EFMD expects Business Schools to be preparing graduates for the global business environment. With competitor institutions already EFMD accredited, these international accreditations are increasingly considered as benchmarks of quality amongst international students. The accreditation also gives us a useful framework to continuously enhance the programme, market it with pride, and ensure Bristol Business School’s position on the global map of Business Schools. We are now preparing for reaccreditation, and our Intern will support our work to ensure the necessary evidence is collected.
This internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in working on an accreditation/continuous improvement project. You will assist key staff to collect and present data that evidence the strengths of the programme. This will involve liaising with a range of academic and professional services staff, as well as potentially students on the programme.
About you: Successful candidates are likely to be students on the BA International Programme, or one of our other Business and Management programmes. They will have good organisational skills, and strong interpersonal skills as the internship will involve working with a range of academic and professional services staff. We, the staff most closely involved with the reaccreditation process, will be on hand to direct, guide and support your work. We are confident that this internship will provide you with excellent transferable skills that you can take to graduate recruitment processes and your future career.
