You would be working within a growing team on projects worldwide. The successful candidate for this role will be working within the energy and petrochemical sectors establishing a course of action within limits of company practices and guidelines for all related project activities.Job Duties:
- Experience in various project phases, including development of basis of design, preparation front end engineering and detailed design packages.
- Responsible for generating layout drawings, loop diagrams and wiring diagrams within the oil & gas industry
- Responsible for generating instrument data sheets, instrument index, cable list and IO list
- Working on a variety of project, to deliver design drawings and final construction/detail drawings, for engineering projects.
- Ensuring drawing packages are delivered within the project time schedule.
- Apply recognized electrical/instrumentation engineering design & drafting principles, accuracy and overall quality.
Qualifications:
- Accredited degree in applicable field of study
- P.Eng certification is preferred
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical/Controls Designer within EPC/EPCM projects.
- Thorough knowledge of appropriate codes and standards
