Electrical Engineer in Norton Shores, Michigan

Description:

Electrical Engineer with experience in power distribution throughout commercial buildings. They will be responsible for the design of Lighting, Fire Alarms, Communication Systems, and Arc Flash Analysis. Projects include family entertainment centers, grocery stores, and retail stores.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a project electrical engineer for the design, development and documentation of primary power, secondary power, lighting, fire alarm and other auxiliary systems on small to medium-sized projects

  • Research and document any required code review for assigned projects

  • Perform product research as required for project development

  • Present electrical system concepts/designs to clients and/or design review committees

  • Develop and edit project specifications

  • Review product shop drawings/submittals

  • Review and respond to requests for information (RFIs)

  • Visit project construction sites to review progress

Skills & Qualifications:

Must Haves:

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • 4+ years of experience designing power distribution throughout buildings

Nice to Haves:

  • Proficient within Revit
