This opportunity would build on postdoctoral research experience primarily in single particle cryo-electron microscopy structure determination.If this sounds like the role for you then we’d love to hear from you.Salary and benefits:£49,745 rising to £58,554 per annum, Grade 8 of the College’s London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance that applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.Birkbeck offers a competitive salary and generous pension scheme, 31 days paid leave, flexible working arrangements and some of the most generous benefits in the HE sector, all while being located right in the heart of Bloomsbury, Euston, London.Contract:Open-ended, permanent contract. Full-time (35 hours a week), with occasional out of hours working. Work is based at our Bloomsbury campus, and will involve occasional trips to the National EM Centre, at the Diamond Synchrotron.
