Overview

The Careers and Enterprise Team’s vision is to proactively open the doors of opportunity for Queen Mary students and graduates by innovating and collaborating with our community. This is an exciting time to join the Service which has grown rapidly over the last 2 years.  This newly created and strategic post offers you a great opportunity to drive the strategic direction of embedded careers provision, leading the consultation and roll out of a career framework and an interdisciplinary work experience module across each School. The post offers you a chance to innovate and design the framework and module, working closely with key stakeholders across Queen Mary such as academic staff, QM Academy, Registry and the Head and Deputy Heads of Careers and Enterprise to ensure the Queen Mary 2030 vision is delivered and to drive up graduate outcomes.

You will need high level influencing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to get buy-in from Deans and Heads of School to embed the framework and modules within each programme’s academic diet. Effective strategic planning abilities and nuanced thinking are essential to quality assure the programme and roll it out across the university.

This post is based at the Mile End Campus and is a full time, 3-year contract. Salary will be in the range of £60,128- £67,139 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
