Key Responsibilities – Advising both employers and employees on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters. – Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, and employment documentation. – Providing day-to-day advice and support to clients under the smart HR retainer service. – Supporting clients through disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, and tribunal claims. – Assisting with the employment aspects of corporate transactions (previous experience in corporate support is desirable but not essential). – Collaborating with senior lawyers and partners on complex advisory work and undertaking legal research. – Developing a reputation for leading client service, taking responsibility, and strengthening client relationships. – Engaging in business development initiatives. – Maintaining CPD requirements through attendance at training sessions. Ideal Candidate Profile – Newly Qualified Employment Lawyer (NQ-3 years). – Qualified Lawyer with at least one seat in employment law or previous demonstrable experience in employment law. – Commercially aware with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. – Proactive with a desire to develop a career in employment law. – Strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail. – Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
