Employment Associate 3+ PQE – Leeds A leading international firm is looking for an Employment Associate to join their highly regarded team based in Leeds. This presents an excellent opportunity to work closely with a Partner who has significant recognition across all major legal directories and develop your career within an established national practice. THE OPPORTUNITY This is a highly regarded global firm with one of the largest Employment teams in the UK. As a senior member of this team, you will progress and manage a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, varying in scale and complexity. The work spans a range of sectors including major corporates, retail, hospitality, central government, insurance and health and a significant number of clients are household names. You will work closely with the Partner and wider team advising significant public, private and health employers on human resource issues from daily personnel matters, including disciplinary and grievance issues, to strategic management issues such as collective redundancy programmes, industrial action, transfers of employees and sensitive hires and exits. ABOUT YOU · Qualified Solicitor, ideally with at least 3 years’ experience dealing with employer clients. · Experience of handling tribunal claims from start to finish is necessary. · Demonstrable experience of handling contentious and non-contentious matters, including advice on policies, handbooks, contracts, settlement agreements and ideally redundancy, TUPE and other reorganisations. · Confident communicator and the ability to maintain relationships with clients. · A solid academic background.
