Through the management of the home energy team, you would oversee projects that directly
contribute to creating greener more sustainable communities. This role is about being a

Purpose of role:
The Energy and Communities Project Manager will play a crucial role in driving sustainable
change within local communities. This position focuses on educating residents about energy
efficiency, supporting health and wellbeing programs, and leading behaviour change initiatives.
The role involves actively engaging with the community to promote sustainability efforts and
managing the home energy team to oversee projects that contribute to creating sustainable
environments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of domestic energy saving and the benefits
of sustainable practices for individuals and communities. They will be a catalyst for change
and an influencer, inspiring others to participate in building a sustainable future and
achieving environmental goals.

Based: This position will be based at PECT’s offices: Ham Lane House, Ham Lane
Peterborough, PE2 5UU. Hybrid working is currently in place with two days per week in the
office.
Salary: £31,500 – £36,000 depending on experience.

Hours/Week: 37 hours per week (although part-time hours will be considered)
Work outside normal hours: Occasional evening and weekend work may be
required, typically for events
